Kara Austin recognized the need for a boat club on Lake Keowee that made high-end boating simple, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone. In 2025, she founded Keowee Boat Club to offer members the luxury of boating without the stress of ownership. Her goal was to create a warm, welcoming community where people could make lasting memories on the water.
